About Danielle

Danielle is a Registered Psychologist and founder of Smart Path Psychology.

Her experience spans private practice, EAP services, the NDIS, DVA, TAC, and WorkCover frameworks, supporting individuals navigating workplace stress, injury, trauma, grief, life transitions, and mental health challenges. Danielle also has both personal and professional experience with emergency service workers, defence force personnel, and veterans, providing her with an understanding of the unique pressures associated with high-demand roles, operational stress, injury, trauma exposure, and the impact these experiences can have on individuals and their families.

Danielle believes therapy is not about “fixing” people. Rather, it offers a space to slow down, make sense of life’s challenges, and move beyond simply surviving. Her approach is warm, collaborative, and practical, helping clients build insight, strengthen self-trust, and create meaningful, sustainable change.

Her work is collaborative, practical, and values-led, centred on helping clients build insight, strengthen self-trust, and create sustainable progress — supporting each person to find a path forward that feels authentic and truly their own.

Danielle is committed to creating a safe and respectful therapeutic environment where clients feel empowered to express themselves authentically.

Her work is grounded in:

  • Client-centred care

  • Evidence-based interventions

  • Practical skill development

  • Strength-building and resilience

She integrates acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based approaches to support meaningful and lasting change.

Therapy with Danielle is collaborative. You are not “fixed.” You are supported to build insight, develop strategies, and strengthen your capacity to navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence.
